March 2018 Newsletter

In February we welcomed a major delegation from Nepal of government agricultural program and advisory staff who were seeking information on Landcare and its applicability to working with local farming communities in Nepal. We also highlight one of our significant partners – GIERI in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Patrick Kaka has managed several projects in the DRC supported by ALI, despite war conflicts and incredible land degradation issues caused in part from huge numbers of refugees from those conflicts. ALI is also involved with 2nd  Landcare workshop in the Caribbean, this time at St Kitts-Nevis in May. Read the full newsletter
